What allflights is

allflights is a fast, plain-English way to check whether a flight is on time. No ads, no app install, no account. Type in a flight number or pick an airport and you get what the airport is currently reporting — status, gate, scheduled and estimated times.

Where the data comes from

Flight status, gate and time information is pulled from airport operational data feeds — the same source the terminal screens use. The data is fetched fresh on every page load and polls again every minute while you're watching a board.

Airline logos are served by a third-party image CDN. Some smaller carriers may not have a logo on file, in which case the airline code is shown instead.

What we don't show

allflights is not a live radar feed. We don't show the position of aircraft in the air or real-time altitude and speed (except where an operator files that data). We only show what the airport has on its operational board — if the airport doesn't know yet, neither do we.

The departures and arrivals boards show a rolling three-hour window around the current time. Flights outside that window won't appear on the board, but you can look them up directly with a flight number using the search bar.

My flights

Flights you track are saved to your browser only — nothing is sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data will remove them. They're there for your convenience, not for us to hold.

Coverage

We currently cover ten Australian airports: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Canberra, Hobart, Cairns and Darwin. More airports are planned.
